TERMS OF USE

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of The Pulpit App. The product is browser-local with AI-backed processing. Paid offerings are one-time sermon pass packs purchased through Lemon Squeezy — no accounts, no subscriptions, no cloud storage.

Effective date: March 12, 2026

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using The Pulpit App, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be authorized to upload, process, edit, or export any sermon media, transcripts, graphics, or other content you submit.

License and permitted use

Kleyn Studio (Pty) Ltd. grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use The Pulpit App for your internal ministry, editorial, or organizational workflows, subject to these terms.

  • You may use the product to upload sermons, generate transcripts, edit clips, and export outputs.
  • You may not reverse engineer, interfere with, resell, abuse, or overload the service.
  • You may not use the service to infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain responsibility for the content you upload or generate. You are responsible for ensuring your sermons, transcripts, captions, and exports comply with applicable law and with any rights granted by speakers, churches, or third-party platforms.

You are also responsible for reviewing AI-generated transcripts, clip suggestions, and metadata before relying on them publicly.

Free tier and paid pass packs

The free tier provides one browser-local sermon pass covering up to 30 minutes of video. Clearing browser data will remove local projects and usage state.

Paid sermon passes are available as one-time packs (One Sermon, Series Pack, Campaign Pack) purchased through Lemon Squeezy. After purchase, Lemon Squeezy emails you a license key which you enter in the app. Passes never expire. No subscription, no account required.

AI features and outputs

Some features rely on third-party AI services through server-side routes, including transcription, clip analysis, and clip metadata generation. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a specific use case.

You should review all AI-assisted outputs before publishing, and you remain responsible for any final exported or distributed content.

Availability, changes, and termination

Kleyn Studio (Pty) Ltd. may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if misuse is detected, or if the service must be modified for legal or operational reasons.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Pulpit App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free outputs, or that any draft paid workflow will remain unchanged before full launch.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kleyn Studio (Pty) Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location.
